With many businesses competing against each other for their customer's attention, it can be hard to stand out. This means, businesses need to constantly innovate and create creative marketing strategies to stay ahead of the curve.

Fenty Beauty's Fenty Face Contest

Fenty Beauty launched their 'Fenty Face' competition in mid 2022. With the goal to find the next brand ambassador who could represent the brand in upcoming campaigns.

This contest went viral on TikTok massing 72.8 Million views on #FentyFace. Countless videos were plastered on the 'For You Page' for viewers and creators alike gave Fenty a new level of exposure.

Somi's 'Dumb Dumb' Dance Trend

Although the trend was started in 2021, the 'Dumb Dumb' dance trend was the catalyst to one of the most powerful marketing strategies in the K-Pop industry of 2022.

Pre-2021, K-Pop groups have been dancing their choreographed routines on TikTok for fans to enjoy. However, in 2021 Jeon Somi released her new hit single 'Dumb Dumb' which was launched with a TikTok strategy to promote the song.
