Everyone across the globe has had or heard of Coca-Cola. In 2012, Coca-Cola decided to make use of their well-known brand to launch their marketing campaign Coca-Cola `Share a coke’ to increase their sales and interacts with all their consumers around the world.
This campaign consisted of printing popular names on Coca-Cola bottles, which incited consumers to find coke bottles with their name on it or the names of their friends and family. Unconsciously they spent time going through stacks of coke bottles while doing their grocery to take a picture with it and then share it on their social using the hashtag #ShareACoke.

The Share a Coke campaign allowed to brand to increase their User Generated Content massively, as more 650,000 pictures were shared on Instagram and 1 million impressions for post with the hashtag were share. Moreover, it allowed them to highly increase their social selling due the creation of their eCommerce store, where people could order specific bottles or create virtual Coke bottles with their names that they could share on their social accounts. They managed to sell over 150 million personalized bottle through this campaign.
